These grants, honoring 50 years of Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB) work throughout the state, focus on counties that have not received WAB funding for the past several years. The $2,500 grants provide support for arts-related projects.
Eligible applicants must be nonprofit (501(c)3) organizations from any of the following WI counties: Adams; Buffalo; Calumet; Clark; Crawford; Dodge; Florence; Forest; Iron; Jackson; Jefferson; Kewaunee; Lafayette; Lincoln; Marinette; Marquette; Monroe; Oconto; Pepin; Price; Taylor; or Trempealeau.
Timeline
May 31, 2024: Application deadline
June 7: Application review and grant approval
June 1 – December 31, 2024: Projects occur
January 31, 2025: Last day for final report submissions.
August 2024 – January 2025: One-hour virtual meeting with representatives with the Wisconsin Arts Board, Wisconsin Humanities, and the Office of Rural Prosperity.
