What energizes you as you consider the future of the arts in Wisconsin?
I am really excited for the future of art in Green Bay. It seems that the art scene is growing rapidly, especially in the last few years. I had the amazing opportunity to be involved in the Unhinged art exhibit that took place at the Widener Center in the fall of 2022, which featured a large amount of artists of all disciplines, being able to showcase their work throughout the entirety of the facility in an interactive and a nontraditional fashion. The show just showed that the area and the local facilities are ready and willing to showcase the areas talent and want to adapt to its needs. This area is incredibly rich in artistic talent and history and it just needs a continued increase in support. The consideration and inclusion of diverse cultures, and their proper representation will be vital to for the art scenes continual development.
